Senior Account Manager
Job Description
DHD is looking for a Senior Account Manager who thrives on leading full-service marketing programs — strategy, creative, media, lead generation, budgets, analytics, and everything in between. Who You Are
You have hands-on experience managing all aspects of marketing for clients — creative, digital, media, strategy, budgets, planning, and performance. You’ve sat at the center of campaigns and guided them from concept to execution.
You’re a natural relationship builder who communicates clearly, anticipates what clients need, and brings a calm, proactive presence to every project.
You love creative thinking, but you’re grounded enough to keep budgets, timelines, and deliverables tight. Curiosity isn’t a buzzword for you — it’s how you work.
Experience in the senior living industry is a strong plus, but not required.
What You’ll Lead
Client Leadership & Partnership
You’ll be the strategic and relational lead for key accounts — guiding clients through decisions, keeping communication flowing, and helping connect their business goals to smart marketing.
Marketing Strategy
You’ll help shape annual plans, campaign strategies, messaging approaches, and cross-channel execution — always grounded in insights and performance.
Creative + Digital + Media Integration
You’ll bring together creative teams, media strategists, digital specialists, content creators, and production resources to ensure ideas are aligned and effective.
Budget Ownership
Forecasting, managing budgets, reviewing estimates, issuing change orders, protecting profitability, and keeping all work on-strategy and on-time.
Internal Team Guidance
You’ll mentor Account Managers and Coordinators, lead internal status meetings, create clarity through documentation, and help push our modernization efforts — AI tools, new workflows, and digital-first thinking.
Forward-Looking Thinking
You’ll bring ideas, trends, observations, questions worth exploring, and opportunities our clients might not see yet. Curiosity drives you.
What You Bring
Full-service marketing experience in an agency environment (required)
Ability to lead conversations at the executive level
Strong communication and presentation skill with a relationship-first approach
Experience working with cross-functional creative and digital teams
Proficiency with Basecamp, Excel, analytics tools, and modern collaboration platforms
High curiosity, initiative, and comfort working autonomously
Must live in the United States
Illinois-based candidates preferred
Ability to travel occasionally (not frequently)
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $70,000 – $110,000
