Seasonal Promotion

Lake County, Illinois wanted to encourage residents of Chicago and its northern suburbs to visit during the fall. The county offers many seasonal events and destinations, like haunted houses, pumpkin patches and other family-friendly activities.

What we did

We developed Spooks and Spirits, a halloween-themed promotion. In addition to the county’s many seasonal offerings, we highlighted its growing list of craft breweries, distilleries and wineries.

Why it worked

In its second year, the promotion grew to include a TV spot and custom landing page on the VisitLakeCounty.org website.
