SENIOR MEDIA PLANNER/BUYER

DHD is a fully integrated, award winning advertising agency. We’re seeking a senior media planner/buyer 4-6 years of advertising agency or buying service experience with traditional platforms and a working knowledge of digital media. Our clients include B-to-C and B-to-B industries, with focus on lead generation for senior living, tourism, manufacturing and home improvement services.

Headquartered in Chicago, our beautiful offices are in a Landmark building overlooking north Michigan Avenue, the Magnificent Mile, with views of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan. Qualities
We’re looking for a proactive individual who enjoys media and wants to increase their media responsibilities and contributions for our clients. Knowledge and experience with traditional media, research, developing strategies and executing plans while interacting with team members and clients. Responsibilities include: 
• Media strategies and actionable plans leveraging marketing opportunities with research.
• Expertise across traditional media platforms – knowledge of digital media a plus
• Manage, buy and negotiate across client campaigns aligning with outside vendors/partners on campaign goals to ensure placements meet objectives.
• Manage day-to-day needs of plans and buys, translating client needs to accountable, high performance solutions.
• Strata/ Freewheel media buy authorizations, insertion orders, billing
• Ensure assets deliver on-brand and campaign objectives.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of all campaign documentation, including spec sheets.
• Work with creatives and account managers to traffic and tag campaigns by deadline requirements.
• Evaluate campaign performance metrics and make optimization recommendations based on insights.
• Communicate frequently with managers and vendor/partners to ensure continuity in campaign delivery.
• Present campaign performance reports to account team and clients demonstrating your responsibility and commitment to results.

Requirements
• Strong presentation skills and knowledge to speak to traditional and digital media planning, buying and campaign execution.
• Understands media math and target audience strategies
• Good, contextual understanding of digital channels including SEM, display and paid social; and their role within the overall marketing mix.
• A strategic negotiator who looks out for the best interests of our agency and clients.
• A reliable and calm solution-oriented nature.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; confidence and the ability to connect with people in a genuine way.
• A problem solver and critical thinker by nature. Someone that asks questions and seeks context until they feel the confidence to provide solutions.
• College degree

SEM/Digital Media Specialist

DHD is a fully integrated, award winning advertising agency. We’re seeking an SEM/ Digital Media person with at least two years experience to develop and manage paid search campaigns on Google, Bing, Yahoo and other pay-per-click (PPC) and paid social platforms. Our clients include B-to-C and B-to-B industries, with focus on lead generation for senior living, tourism, manufacturing and home service industries.

Responsibilities include: 
• Campaign strategy and development for agency clients.
• Execute tests٫ collect and analyze data٫ identify trends and insights
• Achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns using data analysis
• Develop monthly performance reports showcasing campaign activity
• Track٫ report٫ and analyze PPC initiatives and campaigns
• Effectively estimate and manage campaign expenses and budgets.
• Optimize copy and landing pages for paid SEM campaigns
• Continually expand and optimize paid keyword discovery
• Research and analyze competitor advertising link

Requirements are:
• Proven SEM and PPC campaign experience across Google٫ Yahoo and Bing
• Google Ads Certified, Google Analytics Certified
• Paid social media experience
• Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
• Continually current on trends and best search engine marketing practices
• In-depth experience with bid management tools (e.g.٫ Click Equations٫ Marin٫ Kenshoo٫ Search Ignite)
• Adept in and experienced with website analytics tools (e.g٫ Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends) and Google Data Studio.
• Strong analytical skills
• Skilled in Excel - Pivot tables, Formulas
• Experience generating SEM reports
• Working knowledge of HTML٫ CSS٫ and JavaScript
• Bachelor’s degree required

Located on Michigan Avenue, DHD is a full service, mid-sized agency. We specialize in strategic, creative branding and lead generation for business services, senior living, hospitality/tourism and manufacturing. All agency services are provided in-house: account, creative, interactive, digital and traditional media provided by a friendly team of professionals.
